The IX Mobile Media School finished its work, dedicated to the International Youth Day “Berel culture: the transition of artifacts to digital format” with the support of the Information Office of the UN Global Communications Department in the Republic of Kazakhstan, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, East Kazakhstan State University named after S. Amanzholov.
The media school was held in a unique place – the state historical and cultural reserve-museum “Berel”, located in the Katon-Karagai region of East Kazakhstan.
The two-day event were attended by students studying in the field of “History”, “Journalism” of East Kazakhstan State University, scientists, history teachers of secondary schools, journalists of regional media, ‘Shygys akparat’ LLP.
The school introduced a video of the representative of the UN Information Office in the Republic of Kazakhstan, Vlastimil Samek. The director of the state historical and cultural reserve-museum Berel Akhmadiev Zhangeldy Zhanybekovich made a welcoming speech.
In the framework of the mobile media school, seminars and master classes were held for students participating in the excavations of Berel. The program explored ways to find solutions for cases on sustainable development goals: sustainable cities and towns, partnership for sustainable development.
